Mormente a partir desse tiempo, l mirand\u00e9s\u00a0 passou a ser ancarado cumo fala de gente sien conhecimento nien studos, cumo \u201cfala charra\u201d ou \u201cfala ca\u00e7urra\u201d, cousa para fazer ca\u00e7uada.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/header><\/header>\r\n<div class=\"textbox__content\">\r\n\r\n<span style=\"text-align: initial;font-size: 1em\">It was already around that time that we can see the start of the decline for Mirandese and the other Astur-leonese languages. For example, in some theatrical pieces of the XVI century, renowned Spanish and Portuguese playwrights like Juan del Encina or Gil Vicente, introduce characters to their plays speaking these languages and make a mockery of them. Since then, Mirandese was seen as a boorish language, spoken by people who didn't have access to education.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div class=\"textbox textbox--examples\"><header class=\"textbox__header\">\r\n<p class=\"textbox__title\">Assi, la lh\u00e9ngua mirandesa mantubo-se cumo lh\u00e9ngua solo oural at\u00e9 1884, anho an que Jos\u00e9 Leite de Vasconcellos publicou l lhibrico de poemas \u201cFlores Mirandesas\", la purmeira obra screbia an mirand\u00e9s.\u00a0 L mesmo Leite de Vasconcellos publicou ls \"Estudos de Philologia Mirandesa I i II\", que inda hoije son marcos na st\u00f3ria de l mirand\u00e9s. The same author also published the \"Studies of Mirandese Philology I and II\", which are still part of the framework to deepen our knowledge of our language. He also came up with a grammar and orthographic system, although the later was very complex. (In the XX century, we follow the system proposed by Gon\u00e7alves Viana, which is much easier.)
